Our North American manufacturing facilities currently produce and ship more than 1.1 billion pounds of product annually. Engineers, metallurgists and technicians work collaboratively to produce complex plate, sheet, coil, extruded product including extruded shapes, rod, bar, tube, forge stock, and wire. The Company’s rolling mill in Spokane, Washington (“Trentwood”) produces plate and sheet for aerospace and general engineering applications, its rolling mill in Warrick County, Indiana (“Warrick”) produces coil for beverage and food packaging applications, and its 11 extrusion/drawing facilities produce product for aerospace, custom automotive and industrial applications. Each facility maintains highly recognized operational certifications and all facilities have implemented ISO 9001 quality management systems, and our Warrick facility recently received the Aluminum Stewardship Insititute Performance Standard Provisional Certification.
In addition to our fabrication facilities, the company has dedicated research and development Centers for Excellence focused on product performance enhancement and process elimination. Our Spokane, Washington Center specializes in rolling, heat treatment and metallurgical analysis; and our Newark, Ohio Center’s expertise is in solidification and casting improvement. In addition, our New Kensington, Pennsylvania Center is focused on packaging and forming.
